What imagery! Two worlds apart. The church in between the towers. It could be any church in any town in North America. This one is in Montreal I believe if memory serves me. How I loved painting this one. I discovered purple and yellow, opposites on the colour charts that vibrate so much that the light in this painting practically painted itself. The knife lends itself to this theme that I keep returning to.
