City Rain

Now here's one of my favourite topics, a city scene. This was inspired by a Canadian artist of incomprehensible talent named Marc Lague. To paint as he paints would be my greatest wish. This is a fairly small painting. The topic asks for a bigger canvas but alas, I'm pretty short on those right now. I spied a lovely large piece of masonite out for rubbage in the centre village yesterday. I was going to go and get the thing today but damn if it didn't snow overnight. Such is life.
